About Translation:
1. About word count: for the Chinese-foreign documents, the words are subject to the statistics shown in Menu “Tool” → “ Word Count” → “Characters(no spaces) ”of Microsoft Word (Simplified Chinese version); for foreign-foreign documents, the words are subject to the statistics shown in Menu “Tool” → “ Word Count” → “Non Asian words” of Microsoft Word (Simplified Chinese version). For the documents in other formats, the word count can be negotiated by both sides.
2. For clients, the most well-advised way to guarantee a high-quality translation of your files is to plan and arrange your schedules as early as possible by making an appointment with Jinan Sinwai Translation and offering your files. Ample time is the key to guarantee the high quality of your translation.
3. In principle, Jinan Sinwai Translation does not provide proofreading service. However, it is offered under special circumstances after negotiation by both parties. The proofreading fee equal to 80% or 100% of the translation fee will be charged.
4. Jinan Sinwai Translation will remain the original formats and contents as much as possible. However, we will revise the nonstandard formats or grammar based on the actual situations; in principle, we will correct the errors in the original text after informing clients and obtaining their permission, but take no responsibilities.
5. Jinan Sinwai Translation is responsible for the accuracy of translation but not for the source, content and purpose of clients’ documents. Jinan Sinwai Translation has the rights to refuse to translate the documents which cause harm to national and people’s interests and violate the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China as well as international conventions.
6. Jinan Sinwai Translation keeps clients’ documents confidential unless otherwise stated. Advance notice must be given to Jinan Sinwai Translation if clients have special confidential requirements. NDA will be signed by both parties so as to take stricter security measures.
7. For strictly supervising the quality of our translation, please contact us if you have any dissents from the translation or dissatisfy Jinan Sinwai Translation and our staff.
8. The refund and compensation caused due to mistranslation or missing translation by Jinan Sinwai Translation are only restricted within the amount of translation fees.
9. Please explicate the requirements on font, format, system and printing in the translation engagement form. Clients who fill in the form will be responsible for the consequences caused due to refusal filling, missing filling, illegible filling and wrong filling.
About Interpretation:
The following interpretation notes for clients are made for the purposes of taking responsibilities for clients and interpreters, better serving clients and guaranteeing the successful completion of interpretation.
1. Clients shall accurately and detailedly notify the he relevant requirements on interpreters, working places and other related information to us.
2. Clients shall respect the interpreters and protect the safety of their lives and properties and their interests from being violated.
3. Clients shall accurately inform us immediately if the interpreters are dissatisfied or they have done some inappropriate behaviors and negotiate the relevant affairs.
4. Clients shall strictly execute the clauses specified in the contract.
5. Clients shall not privately make deal with interpreters in any forms without our permission.
6. Clients shall not release the relevant information to the third party
7. Clients shall actively coordinate with the interpreters and provide relevant materials if necessary.
8. Clients shall not engage in any activities harmful to interests of our company and interpreters.
9. Clients shall immediately inform us if they have to temporarily change, delay or cancel the interpretation and negotiate the relevant affairs. Partial fees can be refunded to the clients depending on the circumstances.
10. Clients shall contact us or call the police if necessary If incidents harmful to interests and safety of interpreters.
